With the sickness that consumed the pack she spent the majority of her days stocking and drying herbs. Having explored the Swamplands at last amidst the chaos of the illness she had discovered many interesting tidbits, few of them herbs and the majority poisons. She hadn?t met many of the pack wolves but any she did meet she offered Eldberry to, and recommended other health tips to boost their immune system. As it was the healthy had to hunt and care for the sick as well as themselves and Covari would truly be in trouble if many more of their members fell to this sickness.
Her Red Queen was gone from her lands, traversing the surrounding packs as she attempted to learn what she could of what was befalling them and how to cure it. With Des and Cru sick she supposed that left only Sibelle to rule them in her absence. She sighed as placed her rump against the cool earth and wondered at how her simple life had gotten so complicated ? no longer was her brother a constant presence to watch over and guard her and for the first time in her life she was utterly alone.
With his brother now ill, Soliloquy devoted his time mostly between two tasks. The first was standing guard by Scorpion's den, ensuring none dared harm his brother whilst he was so weak and most importantly to be there in case of any change good or bad to his health. He was no healer of course, subtle developments couldn't really be noticed by him but so far there wasn't really much difference, either any herbs were taking their time to make an impact or simply they were not working and another cure idea would need to be thought of.
With Scorpion ill however there was another left weak and defenceless though so busy by this dreaded plague spreading through the pack. Orchid. He would take the task upon himself to look after his dear sister, ensure that no harm came to her whilst their brother rested, recovered and got his strength back. Though the pack it seemed certainly wanted her well to help cure the sick, Soliloquy still would keep watch on her, a task certainly made easier when both she and Scorpion were together.
He had left their brother now, set off after Orchid as she wandered the lands. It wouldn't take him long to find her, bright yellow eyes soon finding her form as she settled herself upon the ground, alone with a rare moment of peace. The trouble of everything was probably running through her mind however and he would keep her company and hopefully provide some sort of temporary distraction for her. Closing the distance Soliloquy would come to a stop as he reached her side and silently sit, briefly nuzzling her in silent greeting. No, she wasn't alone; he could be there for her.
She wasn?t completely surprised when Sol showed up in her hunting, but she was delighted and managed a smile his way. With Scorp down with the sickness Sol was showing himself more the capable with supporting the two of them ? certainly Orchid would not be eating if it wasn?t for her brother. His presence here and now reminded her that she was not nearly as alone as her thoughts where leading. She wrapped up the latest herbs she had found, it was vital she kept her Eldberry herbs as well stocked as possible- without knowing the cure she was determined that this would at least offer some resistance in fighting the sickness or aiding other from catching it.
Her eyes glanced to her protective brother, her guard as he watched over her and titled her hea din thought. She hadn?t offered him Eld berry yet, not as she had to Othello Vi and most definitely Scorpion. She reopened the leaf she had just pulled close and drew out a small handful with her teeth. ?Will you eat these for me Sol?? she asked him, staying vigilant in her quest to offer this herb to all within the pack. She placed the herb by his feet to allow him to pick it up on his own terms ? she was use to Scorpion being dominant over her and expected something similar of her new protector. Despite the fact that as sole healer in a pack in the state of an epidemic she was probably one of the highest wolves right now.
To be honest originally he had stepped up more out of duty than anything else, what would Scorpion had thought had he recovered to find that he favourite sister had not been properly cared for? That didn't mean to say that Soliloquy cared any less for her, in fact Orchid probably had the title of his favourite sister as well, the pair of them were of course close to Scorpion he certainly had grown used to her company over his year of age and even attached to it as well. He had simply never needed to step up, not with Scorpion taking such good care of her, he wouldn't interfere in his brother's duties, not until now when he had no choice but to step up and help.
At her request he would glance down to the elderberries before looking back to his sister. Knowing that it was Winter there was probably only a limited supply of the fruit and whilst of course he dreaded the thought of getting ill as much as any other wolf, his primary concern would be for Orchid as his bright gaze now ignoring the berries and looking back up to his sister. "Have you had your share?" He questioned. Not only was she important to his family but the entire pack needed the healer well at the moment.
