Infuriated.

The white demon stalked eastward- his body aching but his mind seething. Who did they think they were? Attacking a god. He would smite them, bring the whole pack to their knees. That was his forest. His. Standing alongside the river, he threw his head into the air- a deep baritone call calling for one of his sisters, and her alone. Artemis. He held questions for his sister, many- and he also held in his mind plans. Grand plans. Idly, as he waited for his call to be answered, he wondered where his bastard father had gotten off too. Was the creature still alive? Cerberus could soon have use for him- the first use in his life. Perhaps he would ask Artemis- once he figured out the pale wraiths own mindset towards his plans.

Sitting back he hissed in annoyance and pain, before he settled to the ground. His tail flicked against the earth, irritation on his features. Ivory lids fell over his crimson eyes, as he rested his head on his paws- his ears pricked- listening for sounds of an approach. He'd rest, waiting.

They had much to discuss.

Oh, how emotions swarmed beneath taut and pallid flesh; and yet, they never once breached past her interior despite the ferocity of each and every one. Unmatchable fury composed mainly of irritation and disdain seared through her veins, palpable and intoxicating as the paladin wasted minutes away contemplating the events of the previous day?her youthful siblings had been ambushed by cretins who believed they possessed an iota of strength in their feeble bones, yet they were sorely mistaken in the eyes of the phantom deity. She had damned their army with her own biased judgment, branded each a coward for their poor tactics of success?if they had to rely upon outnumbering their foes rather than their own abilities, they were unworthy of their soldier titles and undeserving of the confidence that accompanied victory. They were fools?and she, the vindictive tyrant that sought retribution for the crimes committed against her siblings, and would take it.

The familiarity of his private summons would not quell the inferno blazing beneath her poised exterior, but would only fuel it with the commemoration of the injuries her siblings had sustained. A growl would threaten to escape her clenched jaws, and yet, she allowed for it to subside as she navigated hastily towards the epicenter of his demanding call, defenses instinctively falling into place as the thought of another battle infiltrated her mind. Yet, as she approached her behemoth sibling?the fiendish Cerberus?she would relax just slightly, tail unfurling to brush lightly against the backs of her knees as she sought to halt approximately three feet away from where he lain?battered and bruised. ?Look at you,? she spat, disgusted. Anger bled from her pallid pores, tangible now as it entered the air surrounding them?yet it was present for more reason than one. ?You will never make them bend if you don?t know how.? It was a suggestion she hoped he would heed?he had been a fool to invade claimed lands without proper training and to endanger their impish sister in the process. If he did not learn, he would fall like the rest of them.

She would hail before him, a pale demon. Lids would open, to unveil his crimson gaze as he lifted his head slowly, his ears tilting forward, towards her. As she spoke, he slowly would rise to his feet- as graceful as he could manage, given his injuries. A slight smirk would pull at his jaws, as he looked at her. "Shucks, Sis, I would almost think you were worried about me." He spoke with slight indifference, his tail twitching behind him. "They will bend, even if I have to cut them off at their knees." He said darkly. Artemis made a fair point. He knew he didn't know how to fight- but he would learn. He stood there, a mere three feet from her- staring at her. "You took down the Valhallan Queen, at my age, which makes you a force this land has never known." Yes, that was the last time he had saw his sister before he vanished.

His head tilted slightly, "You held a pack in your paws and let it go. You gave them our home- my forest" Another pause, would follow his dangerously soft words. Blinking slowly, his head would straighten, and he'd gaze at his sister. "Teach me, Artemis." He commanded, his tone light. "Teach me and together, we'll bring the whole of this land... to their knees." The plans so richly bubbled in his mind. An Elysius on every throne, destroying those who stood in their wake. There would be no other name-sake, no other power that could stand against them.

The scalding fingers of fury grappled her throat, forcibly extracting a muffled growl from the confines of her larynx as her mismatched gaze scrutinized his behemoth form, pupils lingering upon the wounds variously carved throughout his pale flesh. In that moment, observing her own kin as his lacerations wept tears of sanguine, the vindictive tyrant internally vowed to cater to her siblings? every whim and to safeguard those of her supreme bloodline to the best of her ability for as long as her maleficent presence was wont to plague this earth. Nevermore would she sit by, idle, to allow for her family to be ambushed as they were, and nevermore would she attempt to reason with those that wished to see the Elysius crumble; she would simply destroy without question or forethought. She did not wish to live to see her siblings face distress, and if she could negate it from ever occurring again, she would.

Despite his hindrances, the hellion offered her the faintest hint of a smirk, and the phantom deity would mirror his wry expression even though unadulterated rage still wracked her interior; and how could she not? It amused the former tyrant that her brother?s intentions were no different than her own--it was quite evident to a keen eye that his ambitions were inflated and that he was stricken by malice and greed as was she; together, she proposed they would be a force to be reckoned with. Indestructible--or nearly so--and yet, to achieve this status, he would need to work for it, as she had. ?You flatter me, Cerberus,? the wraith cooed with feigned gratitude in response to his claim, fluttering her eyelashes for effect as her lopsided grin dominated the porcelain folds of her visage. And yet, the expression would dissipate from her countenance almost as quickly as it had manifested as speech continued to pour from her brother?s frayed lips, reminding her that her achievements had been short-lived. Remorse flooded her diseased mind as she contemplated having let her former prestige so effortlessly slip from her covetous grasp, but her regret was present more so for having disappointed the fiend before her. Silence would consume her very being as she awaited further disdain from her brother, weight shifting anxiously between her paws for she understood that she deserved whatever spite he had to offer.

Hardened carmine gaze would meet her own mismatched before he would utter a singular command, and although slightly bemused by the sudden shift in tone, her facial features would retain their vacancy. She?d allow for him to conclude his speech in silence, only moving once she was certain that he had nothing more to say, attempting to approach his side that had been demolished by his assailant?s spiked harness. Tongue would snake free of slackened jaws, seeking to rasp along the deep trenches etched into his skin so that she might cleanse the wounds he adorned. ?I will not teach you how to make them bend,? she stated softly--monotonously between healing kisses. A pause would be given as she departed from his gargantuan form, seeking to backpedal slightly so that she might interlock their gazes once more, hoping to show him the sincerity gleaming within her eyes. ?I will teach you how to make them break.?

His ivory ears would flick in dismissal of his half sisters words. He didn't seek to flatter her- to fluff her ego. He merely spoke the truth. He was not foolish enough to assume that he didn't need to learn. She could teach him, should she choose to have her ego groomed and fluffed by his truthful words- he would let her. He would allow it. His cynical mind raced- as he nearly drooled over the prospects before them. The crowns, the gems of glory. His mind goes back to his humiliating loss. Anger seethed in his pores, fury radiating about him- as his the fire in his crimson stained eyes danced. He stared at the white deity before home in the wake of his command. The loss today had been humiliating at best- those bastards had attacked a god and his consort, and he had lost. It was so disgusting, but with Artemis teaching them- commanding them. The young Elysius yearlings would become a force unstoppable. No one would stand in their way.

She approached him- along the side that had been demolished by his enemies harness. His muscles tensed, almost expecting another attack- though he relaxed slightly, as he felt her tongue- the kisses a slight relief on the stinging wounds. Her words, sent a chill through his body, and his crimson gaze soon met her own mismatched eyes. He blinked in acknowledgement of her words- ivory lids falling slowly over his crimson gaze. A sinister chuckle left him, and the words that followed it where serious- sincere. "I will smite them." He vowed aloud- and internally. Everyone wolf who had laid a paw on his own- his Nephele... would pay.
