Her mother's absence stung slightly. Yes she needed help, Andromeda wouldn't deny her that but for her mother to have left so suddenly as she had was perhaps the main issue here. She had mixed emotions about her youngest siblings having been left behind, of course it was good to have at least some of the family close but they were so young and to be without their mother wasn't right.
Hopefully Virgil would return soon, though in the mean time Andromeda planned to keep an eye on her younger siblings. There was certainly enough family around them regardless but she wouldn't be another unknown figure in their lives, that and it would set her own mind at ease to watch over them for herself. They were growing swiftly the time to leave the den was of course quickly approaching though as she neared it, the golden girl certainly hadn't anticipated seeing one of the children outside.
Orange eyes would glance around first of all, though it seemed that the younger girl had ventured out unaccompanied, even the boys were not around, though Andromeda couldn't be certain if that was because they had explored further away or simply that they hadn't left in the first place. She'd deal with that in time though, for now Hemera would have her attention and the gilded Olympus would step closer.
Before Andromeda could speak the child would lift her head to look towards her. Nice instincts for one so young, she had managed to sense her approach after all. Hemera's question however would rid any such comment from the gilded girl's mind. Of all Virgil's children, Andromeda was the only one to inherit the golden colour scheme, there was no denying her heritage though she certainly wasn't identical to her mother nor could she pass for her. Apparently the children had forgotten that she was their sister, or at least Hemera had anyway. Young she could forgive that of course though she would certainly correct the girl.
"No." She would respond simply to begin with. "She has had to leave for a little while. I am your sister, Andromeda." Virgil had a knack for giving her children names that weren't the easiest for little tongues to pronounce properly. It had earnt her the nickname of Andi amongst her own siblings rather early on, Hemera could certainly use it too if she wished though she certainly preferred to introduce herself with her actual name. "You may call me Andi if it's easier."
Strange? Certainly not in this family, there were of course shorter ones to choose from though longer Greek names apparently were not really an oddity within the Olympus family. Hemera would soon learn to get used to that fact, Andromeda certainly couldn't recall a time of thinking her name as strange or anyone else in the family for that matter. A mouthful however, now that she certainly understood as the young girl struggled with the pronunciation of it before settling upon Andi.
Next would come the request of a game. It had certainly been a long time since she had played any games, she and her siblings had grown and no longer engaged in the youthful activities they once had. For her younger siblings however, she would oblige. "What do you wish to play?" She would certainly leave the decision to Hemera.
