The little pup was running along, her dark tipped tail swishing back and forth as she stumbled along, not going to wait for her two brothers. They weren't going to steal the chance to explore! Her paws hit in front of each other too close, suddenly, and down the girl went, landing heavily on the grass. She was about to whimper, until a thought entered her mind. 'Mommy wouldn't whimper if she fell, so I won't.' She bit back the whimper and pulled herself to her paws. Her blue gaze turned to a rock, that was sitting there innocently to the side. Instantly, Hemera was attacking, her voice high and her paws batting at it.

"You made mah fall, rock! I'll have my revege!" She said, attacking the poor rock violently, her tiny fangs nibbling on it. She pounced on the rock, hoping to shove it down, but it didn't move. Hemera huffed and sat down heavily, glaring at the rock every few minutes. Not that the look she was giving the rock was very scary. No, she was too small and fluffy to be scary. A puppy growl escaping her, she pounced on the rock again, battling with it once more.

Her mother's absence stung slightly. Yes she needed help, Andromeda wouldn't deny her that but for her mother to have left so suddenly as she had was perhaps the main issue here. She had mixed emotions about her youngest siblings having been left behind, of course it was good to have at least some of the family close but they were so young and to be without their mother wasn't right.

Hopefully Virgil would return soon, though in the mean time Andromeda planned to keep an eye on her younger siblings. There was certainly enough family around them regardless but she wouldn't be another unknown figure in their lives, that and it would set her own mind at ease to watch over them for herself. They were growing swiftly the time to leave the den was of course quickly approaching though as she neared it, the golden girl certainly hadn't anticipated seeing one of the children outside.

Orange eyes would glance around first of all, though it seemed that the younger girl had ventured out unaccompanied, even the boys were not around, though Andromeda couldn't be certain if that was because they had explored further away or simply that they hadn't left in the first place. She'd deal with that in time though, for now Hemera would have her attention and the gilded Olympus would step closer.

Hemera glared at the rock, moving away from it once again, her light blue eyes narrowed in anger, it seemed. She glanced up a few times at sudden noises, but she mainly continued her fight with the innocent rock, until she imagined it saying sorry, and the brown female turned her head away. She watched a flock of birds land, and her dark tipped tail hit the ground a few times, as she struggled to her paws and ran over to them clumsily. "Hey wanna be frieds!" She yelped at them, even as they flew away in alarm. Hemera tilted her head, panting. Why had they flew away? Shaking her head, the pup glanced around. What could she do next?

A scent that she almost remembered made her look up, jumping back as her blue gaze met a golden one. Hemera did not say anything, only sat there, thinking about the wolf. 'Does mommy have those markings under her eyes? Does daddy? I thought they would look......not the same.' Hemera opened her jaws, then closed them, obviously at a loss of what to say to this wolf. Maybe this one was her mother. The pup finally managed to speak, her voice hesitant. "Are......Are you my mommy?"

Hemera paused, and tilted her head, allowing a small smile to the female. She said no more, her blue eyes wide and shining, the pup herself ready to jump up if this was her mother.

Before Andromeda could speak the child would lift her head to look towards her. Nice instincts for one so young, she had managed to sense her approach after all. Hemera's question however would rid any such comment from the gilded girl's mind. Of all Virgil's children, Andromeda was the only one to inherit the golden colour scheme, there was no denying her heritage though she certainly wasn't identical to her mother nor could she pass for her. Apparently the children had forgotten that she was their sister, or at least Hemera had anyway. Young she could forgive that of course though she would certainly correct the girl.

"No." She would respond simply to begin with. "She has had to leave for a little while. I am your sister, Andromeda." Virgil had a knack for giving her children names that weren't the easiest for little tongues to pronounce properly. It had earnt her the nickname of Andi amongst her own siblings rather early on, Hemera could certainly use it too if she wished though she certainly preferred to introduce herself with her actual name. "You may call me Andi if it's easier."

Hemera paused for a moment, watching the other wolf to see if there was any reaction to her question. The pup herself was strange, with her markings on her gangly legs as she struggled to her paws. She wobbled closer, sitting down and staring up at her sister, her blue eyes wide. And then her sister spoke, and the pup lowered her head in disappointment. "No." Hemera paused, holding her tongue so she wouldn't interrupt this wolf. "She has had to leave for a little while. I am your sister, Andromeda." An......Andromeda? That was a strange name. Wagging her tail at her sister, Hemera opened her jaws to speak, but her sister spoke again. "You may call me Andi if it's easier." Hemera nodded, and wagged her tail.

"It's nice to meet you, An.....And.....Adro.....Andi." She said, after several failed attempts at saying her sister's name. "Wanna play?" She asked, spinning around in a circle and chasing after her wagging tail a little.

Strange? Certainly not in this family, there were of course shorter ones to choose from though longer Greek names apparently were not really an oddity within the Olympus family. Hemera would soon learn to get used to that fact, Andromeda certainly couldn't recall a time of thinking her name as strange or anyone else in the family for that matter. A mouthful however, now that she certainly understood as the young girl struggled with the pronunciation of it before settling upon Andi.

Next would come the request of a game. It had certainly been a long time since she had played any games, she and her siblings had grown and no longer engaged in the youthful activities they once had. For her younger siblings however, she would oblige. "What do you wish to play?" She would certainly leave the decision to Hemera.
