She endured the storm like any other wolf worth their merit should have, trudging through the mud and rain to patrol the borders of the pack, making sure that no wolf dared to use the weather as an opportunity to invade. She had heard whispers through the pack of new members, serfs mostly, nothing of threat to her in her quest to gain rank. Still, they were part of the pack, she supposed. She huffed at the thought of a serf rising in ranks, or worse yet; of her falling in rank to their level. No! That would not stand! She'd die before that happened. She needed to eliminate herself from falling from such grace. Sheneeded to prove that she was a valuable asset to the pack. No one is here to light the way

You failure, you got yourself caught didn't you. Nia walked along in a daze, his eyes darting from side to side frantically at the ground. Hehehehe, shut up, don't you know he isn't listening. He's never listening. Those tiny white paws of his were bloody from scratching at the tree's from yelling and screaming at himself for no DAMN reason. Maybe there was a reason, maybe it was his senseless conscious as to how he had been coaxed inside of the territory by the voices and now he was not allowed to leave. Shhhh....I think he's actually going to do something. his head pulled up, and he looked around. The rain could be felt against his pelt. He payed no mind to finding shelter, there were big scary wolves here, big scary wolves his subconscious was scratching at him for. Like his paws, his paws were blistered and bloody, covered in mud.
There was another one, out there in the distance. It wasn't like the red, but his jaw opened widely, when suddenly Tally pulled on his tongue and jumped right back onto his head making him slam his jaw shut with a 'snap'. "Don't you dare Nia, we're already in a bad situation you need to stay away from everyone besides that Red." she scolded him. But obviously he couldn't hear her, he wobbled forward, his mind in a haze until he was a few feet away.
Nia would stare at Dodge in a creepy manner, uncaring, and otherwise not feeling a like. Tilting his head to one side, his nostrils moved in and out. As Tally snuggled herself in his neck fur, hoping to hide and avoid getting eaten. Nia's bloody paws began to burn, and he started to cry. Tears falling down the small boy's face as he slumped down and stared at them. Looking at the blood, and his short nails from all the scratching. He was in that dark place again, he hated that dark place.

It would seem she invoked the devil, for who should appear but the lowly subservient himself. He stared at her for much longer than she felt comfortable and in a way that made her skin crawl. "What?" She hissed, eyes narrowing over his form as she awaited an answer. He slumped to the floor and for a second she thought he was paying reverence to her, only in her sweetest dreams. When he started to cry she drew back slightly, more out of disgust than fear that she had offended him. "WHAT?!" She roared, the hair on her neck bristling as he continued to cry. She was going to snap at any minute. Break his legs and leave him to crawl back to his den through the mud. She rose up, attempting to push him onto his side all the while screaming "Miserable Thrall! Speak before I rip out your tongue and give you reason not to!" No one is here to light the way

The yearling was unstable, and almost didn't exist really. He was so tiny compared to the other thr he flopped over without even having contact from her push. Fear engulfed his brain and he nearly blacked out from the traumatic memories of his past. Of the one he trusted most who betrayed him because he could no longer hear. The screams he could hear their screams coming from the girls maw, too scared to read her lips. Tally rolled onto his stomach seeing as he was now on his back. The rat stood on her hind legs terrified but wanting to explain that nia could not hear her.

"He's sorry we're sorry, Nia is deaf I'm sorry for his insolence" the rat said as Nia kept his tail tucked. He didn't know what he did wrong, the tears continued and he watches her carefully he didn't want her to touch him like HE had. "Ppppreettyy lady don't hurt Nia please tell Nia what he did wrong" he sobbed and showed off his bloody appendages for paws. The nails ugly from all the scratching he ha done. Tally ducked behind Nia not wanting to become a bite sized snack.

She snarled at the rat before it ducked away. How dare he demand answers from her. How dare he waste her time by even asking. Although, she had to consider the newly acquired information: The boy was stone deaf. She huffed, and turned away from him, repulsed by his weakness. Her old instructor once said to her: "Slaves lose everything in their chains, even the desire of escaping from them." The words rang clearly in her mind, and with a hard glare she looked back at the boy. If he had lost the desire to run there was nothing left of him to break. Nothing for her to exercise her rage with, he was nothing but pulp. And while pulp couldn't be built into anything it couldn't be broken down either. It was all give. She contemplated the answer, turning it around in her mind and trying to reach an explanation for what he had done to deserve mistreatment. For a moment she debated apologizing, but the thought of it offended her. She didn't owe him an explanation, he had done nothing to earn respect or affection. On the contrary, he was a slave, he had earned nothing but abuse from the moment he crossed into their borders. Her glare became icy, and her voice venomous as she spoke, "You were Born." No one is here to light the way

The boy watched her lips, and those words burned. His body ached his void body melded around them, it was his parents fault he was weak it was the ones around him that had made him this way. 'You little skunk, go crawl in a hole, go die' a laughing voice said. His eye twitched, he stopped hi years and a disgusting look grabbed on his face as tally scratched the side of his face terrified as to what he would do. Nia looked at dodge very seriously his eyes glinted with a fiery passion. "Teacher how to he strong, teach me how to be worth.... Living" the small boy asked politely but with a fire I'm his eyes.

He hated this world he loathed it, the beings were evil and his subconscious was no better. He would stand up but keep himself low white fur covered in mud. "I beg of you, please recreate wha is before you after the mistakes who have led it wrong." He didn't care what had to be done. Break his bones work him until he collapsed, he refused to die, he refused for his existence to be served by the mistakes that were not his. Who was he, was he even a wolf? No one had taught h and he had only lived a year in the world. He watches her carefully. If she snapped at h he would accept the pain but he would not accept death.

She scoffed, almost offended by the notion of teaching the miserable whelp. "Do I look like I need a deadweight,beggarly, cub latching onto me?!" She roared. She refused. She refused to stoop to his level, to raise him onto her level. He needed to learn his place. He was a subservient. A snarl ripped from her throat as she rushed toward his side The only lesson you'll learn is a lesson in pain! She stopped suddenly and swung her hip at his ribs with the full weight of her body, attempting to throw him down again or at least cause some decent damage, possibly breaking one or two of his ribs. No one is here to light the way

Oh no, looks like he's done it again. Hehe, little brat doesn't know when to learn. Go, go, go, do it again. This is too fun, this is too fun to let go! Something snapped inside of his brain. Tally saw it from her little hiding spot. As the white boy suddenly changed, his body swiftly moving away. Bland eyes that were once covered in fear, calm and collective. As a bloody paw was raised covered in mud. He swatted the mud off, before looking at Dodge. He dipped his head, "I apologize, he can be such a nuisance when he is control, young and naive." of course he knew the kind of position he was in. But, he was on the side of the voices.
He turned his back to her, "I will not be staying long, this filth must be tamed. If you must damage him, do it while I'm sleeping. He is the slave, not me." Nia would start to leave. His shoulders rolling backwards from the soreness, looking at his paws for a moment. He wouldn't look back at Dodge he knew that she would attack the other Nia without a second thought, and perhaps even he since they shared the same body. He would rather keep the wounds he had at the moment minimum to what the red had done to make him erupt from his sleeping prison. Tally quickly chased after him hopping on his back.

She snarled again, tail raised. What did he think he was doing? Did he think he could fool her with a monotone dialogue? She huffed as he turned his back on her. How dare he? If she wanted to she'd rip his tail off at the base of his spine or break his back all together. But she didn't. She'd speak to Fia about what transpired. After all, she was still relatively low in rank, she wasn't even sure that he was hers to torture. She huffed again and turned away from him, heading in the opposite direction, her fur still bristled -Exit Dodge- No one is here to light the way
