She would wake before anyone else, the sounds of their gentle breathing bringing a smile to her face. Things had settled once more into a comfortable routine, the pieces of her life had steadily been put back together. She wouldn't wake them right away, allowing them sleep peacefully for a few more minutes. First she would wake Cru, nudging him gently, planting kisses along his cheek. Once she was satisfied that he was beginning to wake, she would turn to her three children, nudging each of them and planting a kiss on their heads.

Only after each had begun to stir would she rise, stepping away from the cluster of sleepy bodies so she could stretch. Stiff muscles protested, as joints loosened, the sleep slipping away from her her body. "Come on." She would coo softly as she slipped from the den, her pace slow as she waited for them to catch up. None of them had been past the forest, always staying within the protect of its walls. But she thought it was time for them to see the rest of their home. She would weave an easy path straight to the plains, keeping a watchful eye on her children as they went.

Only when they reached the heart of the plains would she stop allowing her haunches to recline while her children romped and played in the tall grass. She would laugh softly to herself as they barely tall enough to see above the tall grass.

A single paw would twitch lightly in restful sleep as whatever dream propelled him continued on. The featherlight touch of her lips against him would bring him gently and beautifully to wakefulness. His deep purple eyes would blink slowly open until they looked up into the gaze of his mate and a warm, satisfied smile would stretch across his lips as he thought of everything that was right in his life. As he yawned and stretched out his lips Sibelle would nudge their children from their sleeps also.

He waited in silence, content to watch the scene unfold before him as they all rose, and he and the pups would follow after Sibelle into the fresh air of the day. He moved beside her step for step, occasionally snatching a gentle rub against her coat as they walked and their tails catching as they swung behind him. He had missed Sibelle, in all that had happened to them there had been a time when he thought things might never be right again ? he was grateful beyond belief to have been proved wrong on that account. They sat in the tall grass and allowed their children to wonder and play, as they did so he leaned gently against Sibelle and breathed in the beautiful scent of her.

The strange things that had happened in the past where already forgotten to the young girl as she slipped back into a routine that held both her mother and her father. They would sleep in the same den together and she was able to curl up with them and her siblings. They got chances to play both in and outside of the den and the chance to watch their parents together in a state that clearly said they loved eachother. She was still overly curious but found chances to wonder off alone harder to find now that there where two watchful pairs of eyes upon her.

She too was dreaming before her mother brought her back to conciousness, she was dreaming about adventures and strange worlds before she was blinking, back in her den once more. She stretched her jaws wide, displaying tiny little razor teeth before snapping her mouth closed again. Her tail flicked lightly behind her and she playfully swiped gently at her mothers form as the other woman moved away from them to stretch. In moments they would all be outside the den and moving on. She stalked through the territory beside her family, watching the tracks of birds fly through the sky and the sound of creatures in the trees. Her eyes where wild and crazy as they fought to catch every moment in the world about her. When they entered the Tall Grass Plains she would lose herself in moment, running through the tall grasses and giggling. ?Bet you cant find me!? she called out to her siblings before attempting to get herself lost in the waving undergrowth that grew in placed taller then her own body.

While her sister may have forgotten the brief disappearance of their mother Ravenna had not. Since the red woman?s return she had pushed it from her mind but never forgotten. Still in these moments with her small form pushed up against her siblings and parents it was easy to think that nothing had happened between the small family. Small huffy barks occasionally puffed out from her lips as she slept, paws twitching as the girl dreamed. Then the gentle nudging and licks of her mother pulled her from sleep. With a groan the girl stretched herself out, the bleary look on her face testament to the sleep that still clung to her.
Still she followed after her parents, each step dragging her further into wakefulness. Ravenna briefly pushed into her father?s legs then switched over to her mother. Her tail twitching behind her. Then they arrived at the plains and her sister took off like a shot her challenge drawing a grin to Ravenna?s face. "Bet I can!" She called after Illaria pounding off into the grass in the last direction her sister had been heading.

He wasn't sure what had happened with his parents, and he would watch them carefully as of late, orchid eyes trailing after his mother's russet frame, his father's monochrome pelt. There was something between them that was different - but as a puppy he couldn't pinpoint what it was, only that it wasn't good or bad just, sort of quiet. It was most likely relief that Sibelle was home after being kidnapped, and that she remembered her family, but the dark boy hadn't really been informed of any of that. The children remained ignorant to the happenings surrounding the pack, and it was probably a good thing. The somewhat broody little boy didn't need anything harsh to cling to so soon.

He woke with his sisters after sleeping beside his mother, dreams of wolves with crosses like he and his siblings and father - they were so much like him, he watched them with a touch of excitement, even though they seemed a bit sad... now awake, he would softly pad through the plains with his family. His sisters seemed to want to play - and he would silently accept Illaria's challenge, following after the girls. He slunk through the grass, careful not to brush past the grass too loudly - he had to keep an even pace about him or Illaria would hear him before she even saw him.

Under her watchful gaze, her children would play, romping in the grass, hiding from each other. She would chuckle with amusement, lowering herself to the ground, the grass rising up around her. Her tail curled her hips, toes flexing against the soft dirt. How nice it must be to be so innocent and naive to the world. To not know of evil or heart ache. A smile toyed with her lips, to be so care free again. Audits twitched back and forth, listening to the sounds that surrounded them. She fell silent, enjoying the music of her childrens laughter. So much had happened, most of which her children didn't understand, but one day they would. Until then, she spent as much time as she could with them, spending days like this, taking them on little adventures through their home. Perhaps when they were older, bigger, she would taken them elsewhere, outside the borders of their home. They could go to the ocean, or one of the many lakes. There was so much for them to see, to learn, it was almost impossible to ensure they saw it all.
