Be Not Afraid, Come Follow Me

The last time she had attempted to call for a meeting, it had been set wrong. She had tried in the old pack lands, where she knew memories remained attached to the Solstice name. Odette had moved her pack to the North, located in two places that seemed to be perfect locations. Without wasting anymore time, she stepped from her chosen den, shook herself free of any excess snow, and proceeded to walk towards the biggest clearing the Woods could provide. Her gigantic form stepped into the middle of it and she tossed back her head to emit a summoning howl. Red and blue eyes danced with excitement as she waited for her howl to fade and see who would appear. Her whole life was about becoming a ruler and making her parents proud. Gargoyle...Ocena...Chrysanthe...Her efforts had not been in vain for their memories and she intended to do well with them. Speech |

She had trailed after Odette to the north, kids in tow. It had been a long journey, they had stopped often so her kids could rest and warm up. By the time they finally made it to the place that Odette wished to call home, she was exhausted. Rounding up her children once more, she would lead them to the gathering place that Odette had selected. "This is a friend of mine I want you all to meet." She would murmur softly to her children, smiling down at them as they approached. "Odette." She would dip her head in greeting to the trip-colored woman. "Odette, these are my children, Illaria, Ravenna and Kieran. Kids, this is Odette, she is the Queen here." She would glance between Odette and her kids, a smile toying with her lips as she waited for her kids to say hello before guiding them to a seat. As soon as this meeting was over she planned to take them back to the den, get them all warm, feed them and then nap. They were undoubtedly exhausted and ready for a real rest.

His sister had mentioned that one of the options for taking the kids away would be to the north, where Falk was, but the direction in which they were headed didn't feel like where Falk would be. Had she another place in mind that she hadn't mentioned to him? He would push his questions aside, quietly following behind her, making sure to keep his nieces and nephew between himself and Sibelle. It was a long ways from where they'd been staying before, so the little group had to take breaks every so often so that the children wouldn't be too exhausted. The cobalt beast had acted as a walking heater, warming up the pups each time they rested, making sure that they didn't get too cold before they actually reached their destination.
A nostalgic feeling washed over Taurig as they moved through the northern region, snow crunching with a old familiarity beneath his worn paws. It had been so long since he had been in the northern regions of Alacritis. He hadn't realized how much he missed being in the cold and surrounded by miles and miles of pristine snow. The air was so much crisper up here and he could feel his mind clear all the better as they trudged along. How he had missed the North. Before long he could hear his sister's pace slow down, the scent of a female teasing his nostrils. Her scent didn't seem very familiar but it had a touch of his adopted sister Chrysanthe's clinging to it. Was this woman related to Chrysanthe in some manner? He would stand quietly behind Sibelle as she introduced the children, noticing that the woman's name was Odette. Odette...It didn't really ring a bell but he felt like it was supposed to. After little Red had finished with her introductions he would step forward, inclining his head ever so slightly to the young woman. It's a pleasure to meet you miss Odette, my name is Taurig. I am brother to Sibelle and uncle to her children...If I may be so bold, did you know a Chrysanthe Adravendi by chance? She was my adopted sister through a woman named Erani. Milky eyes would search the area he hoped Odette's eyes to be, wondering if he could be mistaken in his assumption to her relation to Chrysanthe.

Sage wandered through the woods, the bitter winter winds biting at his skin. He enjoyed the cold much more than the warm. He was born here! It's where he belonged. His thoughts took him back to the dark sanded shores where he was born. He remembered his first pack, Glaciem. Playing on the shore with this siblings and other pups. Where were they all now?
