After her escapades in the north and all of it's glorious snow, it seemed only fair that she spend a little time in the south and bask in the warmth and sunshine. This place was nice, the grass tickled the pads of her feet and she could hear a river just up ahead. Grinning, she bounded onward on giddy limbs. Rivers meant fish, and fish was delicious. Of course, they might not even be there right now, but she could hope. Maybe there were ducks there too. Ducks were tasty as well, and she always loved eating them.  A swan would make for a great meal right now, and there might even be some left for Lyon if she managed to get it back to the island in one piece. Two tops. Okay, three wouldn't be awful, other than how hard it would be to get all those pieces in her mouth to carry back.

Skittering to a halt on the edge of the river, she peered down into the aquatic abyss. There were plenty of fish, even by winter's standards. Her mouth was watering just looking at the shimmering bodies under the water. Hunkering down on the edge, she grinned broadly at the unsuspecting creatures. Her charcoal tipped tassel swept through the short fronds of grass beneath her, uprooting a few unfortunate strands in the process. Licking her lips frantically, she sought the perfect fishy.

The silvery bodies darted past in rapid succession, and she was starting to get irritated by them. Why did they have to go so fast? Couldn't they just lazily swim right under her nose? That would be wonderful, really. With a grumbled curse, she sat up and cast her mismatched gaze upon the clouds above. The sky was so blue, it was enchanting. Letting out a small sigh, her chin dropped heavily to fix her gaze on the fish again. alright. She could do this.

Watching them with an appraising eye, she finally lunged. Clamping her jaws shut around one of the slippery bodies, she got a nice snoot full of water along with her prize. The steel furred dame practically fell backwards after that, forepaws in the air and a wriggling fish in her jaws. She grunted, righting herself again and sitting for a moment while the wildly flipping and flopping fish jerked her head up and down, up and down, until the blood dripping from around her teeth finally got to be too much. It fell still, and she was finally free to enjoy her meal. With a satisfied sigh, she grinned around her scaly prize and dropped it onto the grass in front of her. Mmmm.

He had slivered away from Dione, sneaking out of packlands for the day. He didn't wonder of as frequently as he used to, seeing as it was usually him who had to keep an eye on the kids and make sure they didn't eat eachother. Though, recently Dione had been spending more time with them and Novaro would take advantage of it. The blue man would bathe within the river, hidden by all the plants, which would come in handy for hiding and spying on others. He would stay still for a few moments, letting the water soak around his flesh. The sound of splashing had quickly caught his attention, his crown twisting towards the noise to see what was going on. Typical. Women make so much noise! He saw the frustration grow on her face, until finally she went down and grabbed the silver creature. A smirk would tug on his ebony lips, before putting his entire form underwater. He would be pretty noticeable, but the women seemed rather occupied with her lunch. He would swim towards her until reaching the side, plopping the upper portion of his self on the ground, head resting on paws while his bottom half remains in water. He would wait until she noticed him, hoping to atleast startle her. The sight of him could probably make many giggle, his soaked fur making him look like a big blob.

A quiet plop signaled the arrival of another, and the lass looked up from her meal to spot a very odd sight indeed. Her brows rose, quiet shock. Maybe fish wasn't the best idea. It might have been sick, and now she was hallucinating or something. Last time she'd checked, Wolves didn't come in blue. Meal forgotten, the steel woman regarded the stranger warily. Her mismatched optics gleamed as she absorbed this strange complexion. That was an odd hue, almost like the sky, but not quite. She licked oily ichor from her lips, cranium tilting just so in curiosity. "What are you, some kind of water sprite?" She inquired gently, blinking at him. She'd heard about sprites and faeries and all that, back when she was wee. A traveler had found her when she was exploring the forest around her den, and told her stories. She rather liked them, and told a few herself when she encountered youngsters.

The tip of her tail twitched idly as she regarded him curiously. Well, his paws were normal looking, from what she was seeing. Nothing weird about black wolf toes. Maybe he was just an abnormality, affected by radioactive waste or something. Who knows?

OOC: Oh man crappy post sorry

The man would blink, a response not quite touching his lips quiet yet. Should she give her the satisfaction that she's not going crazy? Decisions, decisions. He would ignore the winds that touched his large frame, his soaked curls making him feel more colder then normal. He would sit himself down, his red gaze looking upon her surprised facade. " What? of course not! I'm a white wolf, silly!" her would snort, "Did you eat something bad? are you ill? Sick? Crazy maybe? Theirs no such thing as unnatural wolves. He would chuckle, "Maybe the fish is poisoned!" A sigh would slip his lips, before standing up once more, "you must be sick, you should rest, Im Novaro Red by the way" He would give, an easy, lopsided sided smile. "just kiddin by the way, i'm blue, don't want your pretty little face to go crazy." A sigh would slip past his lips, letting a moment of silence pass him, "Why did you travel up here? then, it's pretty boring, do you live here? I guess you do!"

The male blinked at her, and she narrowed here eyes ever so slightly- wary. He slid from the water slowly, water dripping from his coat as he did. The male sat himself down, and regarded her with a stunned facade. He insisted his pelt was indeed white, and asked if she was alright. Mismatched optics widened, heartbeat racing suddenly. Ah crap, had she eaten a messed up fish? Well, she wouldn't be eating the buggers from now on if that was the case. Jaws parted once or twice, failing to find something to say. What if she was sick? Poisoned? "I hope not."

Weren't you supposed to make yourself throw up when you'd been poisoned? But she'd worked so hard to catch this fish... The male got to his feet, a small sigh permeating the air. Insisting she must be ill, he offered the solution of rest. Yes, maybe laying down would be a good idea. His introduction came forth easily enough, and she bobbed her head politely. "Sacha Volkov. It's a pleasure." Her melodies met the air weakly, anxieties triggered by this. The steel darling wanted Lyon now.

His lopsided smile stilled her bending limbs as she lowered herself to the ground. He was kidding. Oh thank the gods! She let out a long breath of relief, her stuttering heart quelling in her ribs. His compliment went straight over her head, however. Those things never really registered with her anymore. They were silent again, and the femme took an opportunity to watch the male curiously. His face marking was familiar, similar to the one she herself wore. Was he a relative? No, he said his last name was Red, right? Well, wasn't that just the most ironic thing ever!

He was quick to fill the silence with questions, and she straightened again. "I was just in the North, and I thought some sunshine and heat might be nice, after all that cold." She replied to his initial query with a simple shrug of her shoulders. "I don't live here, actually." She informed him after he made his decision, shaking her head. "I live on an island on the coast with my big brother, Lyonovei." She added, a small smile daring to tug at her inky lips. Where was he, anyway? She paused, letting the silence consume their conversation for a few moments.

"What about you, you live near here?" She asked, since he smelled like many other wolves, underneath the aroma of water and fish. A quick dip didn't usually wash them all away, and he had that look about him, anyway.
