Locha yawned. Drowsily, she opened her eyes, wondering what roused her. Then she realized what. She muffled her protest as another kick from Terrae hit her stomach. With a glare his way, Locha rose. She loves her siblings, but sometimes the close proclivities didn't work to her advantage with her small size. It was easy to forget she was there.

Picking a path through her snoring siblings, Locha made her way outside. She was met by a comforting breeze, fiddling her dark fur. As her eyes adjusted, she walked over to her big brother. Whereas Locha was the smallest, Glacier was definitely the biggest. His massive bulk made her look like an ant. With a sleepy smile, Locha collapsed beside him, nuzzling into his soft fur.  His presence never failed to comfort her.

Glacier spent a lot of his time outside, the land was still new and strange to the Titanic beast and he did not yet trust it with the welfare of his siblings. He didn’t see much of Voltage who was often out scouting, but the rest of his siblings where always nearby – when he himself wasn’t exploring. He was awake when he heard the disturbance inside the den and flicked in ear in the direction of the cave as the familiar, tiny shape of Locha emerged from the cave’s mouth. It would be no surprise when in the next moment she would collapse beside him, a sweet young smile on her tiny form before she was pressing her nose into his fur. With a giant paw he gently nudged her until she was almost fully pressed into his warm coat, offering her protection from the slight wind with his mountainous form.
“don’t tell me my little Locha is getting squished again” he teased softly, well aware of what she went through her tiny frame, as he was of the differences themselves between their sizes. At least when he slept with his siblings, he had learned to be very still, even after his consciousness had drifted away, they could tumble about him in sleep with no fear of being hurt themselves by his titanic bulk and impressive weight. ”it’s nearly light” he pointed out, titling his head to the dark sky and the soft rays of orange that broke against its still darkness. ‘We could hunt, if you like? Or sleep, if your still tired” he added with a soft chuckle, gently nuzzling his sisters cheek in a loving, brotherly gesture.

Locha happily snuggled in as her brothers massive paw squished her against his side. With a giggle, she struggled forward on her belly, resting her head against Glacier's shoulder. Her dark sitter tail swayed from side to side, creating an arm of a snow angel.
“don’t tell me my little Locha is getting squished again” Glacier said. Mocha foul feel the rumble of his voice going through his chest. With a smile she replied.
"Maybe..." faking a scowl.
"it's nearly light." her brother said. Locha's eyes looked to the horizon aswell. The colours of sunrise stretched across, creeping further through the sky by the minute. She loved the sunset and sunrise, especially across the water. It always turned the sea or lakes magnificent colours.
‘We could hunt, if you like? Or sleep, if your still tired” Locha broke into a grin, now fully awake. Licking her brother inbetween the eyes, she replied eagerly.
"Let's hunt! I haven't hunted with you in ages." She kept her voice to a majority whisper, not wanting to wake her siblings. Almost bouncing up and down with a sudden energy, Locha gazed at her brother with excitement.

He loved to tease his little sister, and hey! There was little she could do to retaliate against his hulking form. He teasingly pressed part of his massive paw against his sisters forehead, right where her fake scowl creased her forehead. “The wind will turn, little Locha, and freeze your face that way” he teased, before letting his paw fall again. When she reacted to his words about the day and hunting he could only laugh, even as he was attacked with a sloppy kiss right between the eyes. He pretended to react, shaking his head back and forth to dispel her touch.

He was glad she managed to keep her voice down as she jumped to her feet, eager to begin. “Your right” he agreed, in fact he felt like he hadn't spent much time with his siblings of late, something that needed to change. “Lets go then” he encouraged, rising to giant paws and gently nudging her side before starting off down the mountain towards the greener world below.

Grinning, Locha impatiently pawed at her brother. She was eager to get going. Her tail wagged excitedly behind her.
"Your right." He said.
"I always am, aren't I?" The girl said playfully. She quickly ducked out of reach, just in case. Smiling as her brother rose, she skipped forward. The snow crunched underneath her paws. The further down the mountain, the thinner it got, luckily for Locha. Where it was now was just below her stomach, threatening to freeze her.
"Lets go then” Glaciers voice rumbled. Looking up at him, she nodded her head, bounding down the hillside.

When she was out of earshot of her resting siblings, Locha called to Glacier. "Race ya'!", before running as fast as her short legs could carry her. The wind sifted through her fur nicely, the snow turned orange by the gentle sunrise.

He loved to tease his siblings, and he made a playful swipe at her as she commented on being right. She ducked out of the way and as he settled his titanic paw back on the ground he spoke. “Well, i'm not sure about that I think its a big brothers job to be right” he teased, as the pair rose and began the journey down the mountainside. They stayed together until they where some way down, when Locha called out to him and began to tear down the slope.

She was like a gentle breeze sifting down the mountainside, as Glacier began his run he could be described more like a boulder, dislodged and unstoppable as it began a more destructive course down. The loose snow of the mountain bowed before his weight as each leap of his giant paws brought him further down the slope. His weight however wasn't built for speed, but for power. He didn't both attempting to move his paws as many times as possible in a second, instead each step took as far as possible, legs coiled in power, and launching himself forward. He was gaining on his little sister, and no doubt she had started to feel the snow move beneath her, parts of it shaken loose by the force of his decent.

Locha looked over her shoulder, blue eyes glancing a look at her still stationary brother. With a smile on her face, her little paws carried her further down the hill. The further down the hill she went, the denser the foliage  and trees got. Spotting an opening, Locha dodged through it, emerging into a clear slope. She could feel hear brothers heavy steps behind her. What she was not expecting, however was the dip in terrain.

Her front paws instantly sunk deep into the snow, propelling her behind forward.
"Oof!" Before she knew it, Locha was rolling down the hill at full speed head over heel. Unable to stop, an  watched the work go round in a spin. Green, white, blue and grey mixing together until indistinguishable. Rolling all the way to the bottom she came to a stop resting against a great pine, eyes closed.

The heavy built wolf storming down the mountainside could only watch as his sister veered off course, his titanic leaps through the snow stilled and he skidded in the snow just past the dip, clearly far less agile then his littler sibling.shaking snow from his fur he bounded forward again and towards the opening in the foliage Locha had taken. As he did so he would notice the shape of her sliding through the snow, the momentum of gravity tugging her forward he leaped instantly, a massive stride that took him some distance over the snow before he landed and repeated until once more he was leap-running down the hillside and well he gained and gained on his rolling sister he was not fast enough to stop her, until eventually her roll was broken by a sturdy tree and he struggled again to skid to a stop, momentum half dragging him forward before he could stop at her side. “Locha, Locha?” he called urgently as he reached for her, dusting flakes off her face and bringing her head out of the snow.

The whole world spun around Locha. Her head aching, she closed her eyes, the eerie monotonous ring meeting her. Her tongue lolled, brows creased as she waited for it to fade. Heavy pawsteps booked in her ears, followed by the voice, now booming, of her brother.
"Locha. Locha?"
The girl opened her eyes, the swirling had stabilized considerably, but her vision blurred in and out of focus.
"Heya, bro!" she said giggling. "That was fun, ish."
Unsteadily, she twisted to plant her paws on the ground. As the girl tensed to get up, she was met with a sharp pain in her ribs. Yelping softly, she lay back down. Damnit.
Glaring at the tree, Locha attempted to try again, trying to ignore the pain in her side. It'd be fine. Locha stood on her feet, wobbling slightly. Shyly, she looked at Glacier.
"I won."

The brute stood protectively over his little sister, his head over over her body and his nostrils flaring, sniffing for any scent of blood on her. Her eyes would flutter open and he would look into them as well, looking for any signs of stress or head injury. He wasn't a healer past the basic field care he thought any wolf should know. “I bet it was” the boy uttered dryly as Locha told him how fun that had been. Shaking his head at his sisters folly he leaned back on his hunches, no longer crowding her personal space.

He watched her as she put her paws under her and attempted to rise, she would yelp and fall back down and the brute would frown. She tried again and he subtly moved himself next to her so she would have something to lean against. He could see now how foolish he had been to encourage this, and his lesson was hard learned now.  “Yes you did, my little Locha”  he told her, biting his tongue past that to mention anything of foolishness – he after all had been just as reckless.   “You may have bruised or broken ribs Rina, we'll have to get that sorted”  he told her, thinking through pain herbs in his mind.
