The raven was with him, a silent guardian as he arrived at the festival. Thanatos had arrived as a representation for Pantheon, as the antipeltast, the head warrior, he needed to make sure that he did well. To give the impression that Pantheon was weak was not at all his intentions. He would breathe in, eyes going to the sky to focus upon the raven that soared within the sky. He was in his serious mode, his movements more sharp, more normal. The young man would await for the the spar pairings to be given and before long they would. His opponent was Karabela... he believed he had noticed her when she gave her name to Novella, the one who had called them all here today. Thanatos would break from the crowd, going to where he and Karabela would have enough room to spar easily together. The young man would work on setting his defenses; narrowing his eyes, pinning his ears, and scrunching his neck for example. He would roll his shoulders forward, widened his stance and bending his limps. Claws would bite the soul, weight distributed across all four of his limbs. Tail would be tucked beneath him, head lowered to align with his spine as his hackles were raised. He would part his jaws, a snarl ready to rip from them. "You may have the first move," Thanatos would offer, ready to get this underway. "Listen to me talk," 'but read my thoughts.'

Karabela practically skipped to the battlefield in her excitement to spar, she was going to do her mother proud and show off to her brother!  She was every bit as good as he was.  If Raba was honest with herself she'd also admit she was terribly nervous as well.  She need to focus on keeping her moves succinct and to the point until she gained more experience.  Though young she was growing rapidly and already reached her mothers height of 35", she grinned with the thought of growing even taller.  Her opponent was a slender boy standing at 28" with an earthen coat.

She grinned as she moved to stand across from him.  "Sure thing."  The boy would offer her the first move and she nodded, recalling her mothers lectures as she set her defenses.  Her little head and tail descended to align with her spine, chin tucking as her neck scrunched back, shoulders rolling sharply forward before her hackles stood on end.  Karabela's legs spread equidistant apart, evenly bearing her weight and coiling to lower her center of gravity.  Pallid toes spread as her claws bit into the earth to aid her traction when she finally moved to strike.  Jaws parted as she snarled, bunching the flesh on top of her muzzle, eyes narrowing.  Ears pinned tight to her head as she tensed before launching herself forward.

Karabela attempted to close the distance between herself and the boy, aiming to approach him head on but a few inches to her own right.  She hoped to twist her head down and to her own left and seize hold of the upper left side of Thanatos' neck, just behind his jawline with her upper fangs  about an inch below the base of his ear and her lower fangs attempting to hook under the left corner of his jaw.  She desired to obtain a firm hold from which she could control his head movement.

Was the large woman following him? Turning sharply Skæ shifted from the west to darting north, daring the wolf to keep up with him. For while he was large he was graceful and elegant in a way a wolf could never hope to be and he was more than happy to prove it. The tiger drew near another pair of wolves, younger… oh this would certainly put the older fae's tail in a not as the beast dove for the younger, dark colored fae with the golden eyes, with a swat he attempted to wack her side and roll her on her back before darting off again into the trees. Come and catch me canines! Though I really doubt you will… "Speech"

Jaws opened wide, hungry to draw first blood when suddenly something seemed off. Karabela didn't even have time to put her paw on it as a gargantuan paw slammed into her side and sent her sprawling on her back with an indignant squeak. What on earth! Getting to her feet, shaken and stunned she turned to her opponent then back to the cat that was rapidly disappearing into the trees then to her opponent again. "Ummm….. you know I fight my siblings all the time but I ain't never seen whatever that was. I'm going to follow it!" She was brave and fearless! With a triumphant cry she took off after the tiger.

Thanatos! Due to Karabela leaving, the fight has been defaulted in Theisinova's favor.
