Maybe she should be actually doing something, everything was so quiet here. Plaetic sighed for a moment, her life as a medic hadn't been all that it cracked up to be. After all she was still learning and she hadn't had a chance to speak with anybody yet aside from Leo. It felt like yesterday she had stumbled upon these lands and then decided to make it her home. Oh well to that, she smiled as she hopped over to the hot springs. Making a short dip surely would not do any harm. Not even to her duties either. As she started to sink her body in letting a small giggle escape her throat. Many would mis-assume her age because of her behavior but it was just how she was.

The water would warm her muscle, and the rest of the averagely tall lady's coat. She often found herself soaking in these pools of water. They definitely would come in handy when winter came around. Though Plaetic was certain her fluffy fur would keep her warm as well. So fluffy and soft, perhaps she could get someone to snuggle in with her at night. It definitely would be better, since she was alone she cried underneath the tree's if she was smart enough fell asleep before the sun went down. Curse her fear of the dark.

Walk | Talk | Think

As much as Fiori did not feel like home, Eirik knew there was no other place for him. He had never been the adventurous type the way Warja had been, nor had he really made any friends outside of Secretua while he had lived there. He knew no one but his family, and those few others who had lived with them had parted ways once the pack had crumbled away to nothing. His place was beside his mother, sister, and baby siblings, where he could watch them and try the best he could to play the role of protector and big brother at the same time. It was hard, and at times he felt like he failed at both, but he cared too much to give up.

Even so, moments of respite were needed every once in a while lest he break under the pressures of his two competing roles, and it was for that reason that he traveled alone through the pack's territory. He had not given himself much time to explore the new lands that were his home, but neither did he feel a great interest in it either. Somehow he still clung to the hope that his father would show up again and take them home, no matter how crazy it sounded. As he moved, slowly and listlessly, he vaguely glanced up around him with half-lidded, rosy pink eyes, only partially aware of the territory that he passed through. Would they really be here long? Could this place ever truly feel home the way the Prairie and the Gulley had?

As he came upon the Hot Springs proper and noted a figure lowering herself into one through the mists. Though he continued to follow the path that drew him closer, Eirik wondered whether he ought to turn away and seek another quiet path to walk. He was hardly fit for company what with his dour, reminiscent thoughts stealing away his typically good mood. But...maybe forced company was just what he needed to get his mind off of those very same thoughts that were bothering him.

It was good that he had made the decision to stay; he had, by that time, gotten close enough to be seen and surely his exit would have been noticed. But rather than leave, he merely strode up and over to the hot springs, peering around at the different shapes and sizes that they ranged in before he set his gaze on the wolf that he could see was now submerged in one. "Hey," he greeted half-heartedly, offering a half smile that was more forced than sincere. "How's the water?" Having never entered a hot spring before, Eirik was not sure what they were like, though of course he had to assume they were warm.

When she saw the man, before she heard him she couldn't help but to pull her snout onto the dirt. Looking up at him curiously, he smiled. Though Plaetic would only smile back unaware that it was forced. Her tail wagged back and forth in the water. "How about you come in and find out? It definitely would make your muscles feel better." the male had some pretty pink eyes. Seemed off for something like him. Play couldn't help but to keep a smile on her face though, even if he was sad she would try to make his time with her enjoyable.

"My name is Plaetic Memoire you can call me Play." she introduced herself kindly. Sticking her head into the water for a moment she moved her little ears. Blowing water out through her nose before coming back up again. She certainly hoped he would come in, have a little bit of company. She liked making others smile anyway.

Walk | Talk | Think

The wolf seemed not to notice that he was feeling less friendly than he typically would have on a good day, or at least if she did she did not bring any attention to it. Her own smile appeared genuine and sincere, friendly and engaging as she rested her chin upon the earthy edge of the hot springs to peer upward at him. Even her tail wagged, sending ripples gliding along in either direction from the movement, and Eirik wished that he would have been better company for her. Surely his down mood would do nothing to contribute to a companionable exchange between them. He almost felt guilty when she suggested he step into the hot spring too, knowing that he was still struggling with his mood. But trying out a hot spring had more potential turn things around than did moping about in his den alone.

Though he looked a little unsure, Eirik padded slowly closer to the edge of the hot spring, his ears perking as the friendly, smiling wolf offered her name. "Eirik Kaname," he offered in return, once more causing the edges of his lips to curve upward into a little smile. It felt a bit easier to smile this time, though just as the first one it was short lived. He let his attention drift downward to the water and the steam that covered it, hesitating for a moment before he lowered his front half down and reached with a forepaw to dip it into the water. It was warm alright. Hot might even have been more accurate, which he should have gathered from the name. But if this wolf could submerge herself in these waters then so could he.

Carefully, slowly, and with a determined look about his face that was part seriousness part worry, he eased himself into the water, one leg at a time. It took some adjusting to - the heat was only slightly uncomfortable and he felt like his cheeks were rosy beneath his fur - but he managed to relax into it. She was right at least; it did feel nice. "Little warm," he commented, half in jest, as he shifted a little on his feet. "Not bad though."

Play would hum a bit, even if she was oblivious to many of other wolves out comings. She tried her best to be the sunshine in anyone's life. Even if it wasn't welcome as the male slipped into the water she would scoot closer to him. So that her muzzle was inches away from his shoulder. Her lavender eyes looked at his own strange orbs and her smile didn't falter. "Of course it might feel a little bit awkward with Summer and everything, but it really does heal your muscles if they are hurt if you're stressed." she mused. Maybe she did get it a little bit, but it wouldn't even cross her mind.

"So why are you in Fiori?" Play would ask as she sat down in the water. It reached up to her neck then, her paws spread out underneath the water. Her tail curled around her haunches. As she lowered herself a little so that her nose was underneath the water, the most she could manage for a few moments to blow up some bubbles from the water before giggling and raising her head again.
