Crawling - Linkin Park
BIC:: With him sitting in total silence, so very focused as he was, his sense on high alert he was not so easily snuck up on. Obito was a Hunter, after all. Listening to the world around him was something the was very good at. But so focused was he on his thoughts, that he allowed a calm reaction to flow through him. Taking in a very deep breath into his lungs, he exhaled slowly. As he did his eyes opened and his snout slowly rose from where it had been aimed down. The ghosts would remain silent for right now. The trees would not whisper to him of the horrors they had seen. For right now, there was no lesson to be learned. So the creature would pull himself free of his meditation. The great thoughts would be his to ponder later. As he came back to the waking world, his face would settle into a very calm, neutral expression.
Turning his gaze to the general area of where the pup was hiding, he saw nothing but the low hanging vegetation. Lifting his tail from his paws, he took one step toward him, raising his body from the ground as he turned. Another easy step forward, all of his movements very calm, very slow and subtle as not to cause any kind of alarm. He could tell the scent was another wolf. Lowering his head, he would look under the brush from a distance, seeing the outline of the pup hiding there. A youngling. A very small, calm smile would spread his maw as his amethyst eyes shined bright with soul. His voice would fall softly upon the boy's ears. "Wakati amani, mtoto. Mimi haitakuumiza." At peace, child. I will not harm you.
He knew he had to be very careful about his actions. He wished no ill will for this creature. But mothers only knew how to protect their children. And his might not be very far from here. Obito wanted not to upset anyone. So he would remain subtle.
