There was a woman on his border. He could smell her from a distance, her strong, rogue scent unmistakably feminine. So he followed at a distance, watching and waiting, seeing what she was going to do. It was pretty clear that she was interested in the pack. What wasn't clear was just where that interest was coming from. Was she a spy or a potential recruit? No, not a spy, he decided. She didn't appear to be trying to hide, so he assumed she wanted to be found.

Taking longer strides, Valentine moved to silently close the distance between them. It was time for her to be found, wasn't it? His voice booming to better close the distance between them, he queried, "Don't suppose you're looking for trouble, are you?" Imperium's borders had been quiet as of late. There hadn't been any trespassers to maim or claim for awhile now and it was a crying shame.
