She pretended to be miffed by his laughter, making sure her expression was neutral when she glanced back, but... when she was facing forward, a grin had broken out on her face, and her eyes sparkled. She couldn't, however, resist her laughter and amusement when he asked about hunting. "Not at all!" she yipped back, cheerfully, laughter still bubbling from her. "Look ahead a bit," she murmured, pointing with her muzzle. In the distance, the sand was faintly visible, and it was growing closer with each passing moment. "This was where I went when Bass sent me on a mission," she informed him, not even realizing that he did not know about that mission at all. "I never actually explored these dunes, and I want to." Exploration was her passion, as much as healing was Starling's.
