You don't know what's in your heart
If his father had told him about the comment, Rivaxorus probably would have apologized. He hadn't meant it to be rude, he simply was caught up in excitement that he wanted to show the first wolf he had run into. Perhaps it being his dad had made him all the more proud. As he blinked at him, laughing a little bit at the mentioning of his size. Yeah well, as far as he knew they all had to grow up sometime. The smile on the boys face though was genuine of course. "At first I was practicing, but it seemed like a waste to just leave it." Riv mentioned as he tilted his head to the side. So having someone eat this would probably make him feel better about himself for certain.
"Are you hungry?" Riv would ask as he nuzzled the carcass towards his father. Nothing would make him happier then to see his dad eat something he had caught. There was no use forcing though if he didn't want to eat anything. Maybe Riv should have left the goose's soul be, he didn't want to end up killing needlessly. After all, being alive was wonderful, so what else could they do with themselves. He still didn't totally understand, but he was determined that he would learn that was for sure.
