Double Shot of Crown {SIEGE}

Was she really running away? Determination set his jaw and if they weren't already laying flat, his ears would have slicked back. Not today, she wasn't! His lips rose higher in sneer, effectively bunching the skin across the bridge of his nose and around his narrowed eyes. He'd come all this way for a fight only to have his opponent turn tail? No way. He would not go home with nothing to show for it! Angelus crouched lower, his loose-jointed, slightly widened stance lowering his center of gravity moderately as he kicked it up a notch in the hopes of catching up to, and overtaking, his opponent. If he had to ram his chest into her ass to get her to turn around and fight him he would! His toes were splayed to better his balance and with each heavy step his nails dug into the ground to add a little more traction to his gallop. Behind him, Angel's tail was still held straight out, although at this point he was running fast enough that if he'd relaxed it the appendage probably would have remained aloft and fluttered along in the wake behind him. Angelus's hackles remained standing; the rigid, protective hairs spanning the length and width of his back. In trying to follow her, Angelus unknowingly lined himself up for her kick. Thankfully wolf legs weren't designed with kicking backwards in mind, so the move wasn't a powerful one. Her hind left paw slapped uselessly against the lowest portion of the front of his left shoulder and while it stung fiercely, no lasting damage was done. The woman spun to face him. Angelus continued to try to place them in a nearly straight line, only this time he wanted them to be face to face and just a little off center so that the center of his chest was lined up with the front of her right shoulder. Not for one second had he ever slowed down and with his greater mass in mind, the boy intended to run full force into the woman. He intended to use his chest like a battering ram, and he sought to do so by slamming the center of his chest into the front of her right shoulder. Being heavier and with more momentum backing him up, this move would hopefully do more damage to her than to him. He didn't think he was quite strong enough to dislocate the woman's shoulder, but he could hope, right? In any case he was pretty confident he could jar it back and strain the ligaments (...tendons?) that held it together., and possibly make it too painful to use properly for the rest of the fight. [counter to Takira's shoulder throw; damage pending] Takira's front right paw struck air as it swiped at the space between Angelus's forelegs. While it didn't hit him, his opponent's paw managed to disturb the air next to the inside of his right foreleg and in turn, disturb the fur that lined his leg. Feeling the breeze and guessing what it was from gave the yearling an idea. He shifted his weight to his other three paws and distributed it equally among them as he lifted his right forepaw and attempted to slam it down on top of the two innermost toes of his opponent's left forepaw. There wasn't much to be gained from this move except quite a bit of pain, which had the potential to be disorienting. It was also possible his heavy weight and the force with which his paws were slapping the ground could strain the fibers that held his opponent's foot together and render it too painful to use for the rest of the fight. Unknowingly the woman played right into his attacks. With her head lowered and aiming for a bite, she'd lined herself up for a world of hurt. Angelus was beyond caring what kind of damage he took; he just wanted to win and he would win at any cost. Using the same force that backed his chest slam, the boy rolled his right shoulder forward with the intention of using the bony front of it to intercept the woman's bite. He wanted to slam into her snout hard enough to snap the wiggly part of her nose back and make it bleed, and maybe if he were really lucky, crack a couple of teeth and bust up her pretty smile. [counter to Takira's bite; damage pending] Tucking his chin, Angelus snaked his head down as he went in for a bite of his own, this move also serving to protect his throat since he was about to get it pretty close to his opponent's face. He twisted his head to his left (rotating it in place, not reaching out and to his left) as his jaws parted. Using a move his dad was fond of, Angel intended to drive his upper left canine into the right eye of his opponent and his lower left canine into the left eye of his opponent. The rest of his front teeth would hopefully dig into her forehead above each eye. The brute intended to slam his jaws closed on her head and achieve a blinding grip on the woman's face. He didn't really think this move through – what good was a blind slave? - he just wanted to win and he didn't care how. ANGELUS versus TAKIRA for FORCE CLAIM Round TWO of TWO |
