Looking Out, Looking In

Ah, there it was. The totally indignant glare and the tough-pup act. She thought she could stand up for herself. How naive. "Could easily have been an outsider," he argued back at her. Seeing her stick out her tongue and snap her teeth together, he quirked a brow, then laughed derisively. "Still got your milk teeth, I see," he teased. When the whelp mentioned Paradox he was surprised but amused. If only he could call himself Para's boyfriend - the woman was highly entrancing with her ivory coat and cold blue eyes. But he didn't need to share that information with a child. Snorting, he pounced toward her and used his right forepaw to shove her left shoulder to bowl her over.
"I have better things to do than play with girls," he said, rolling his eyes, "And I have better things to do than babysit. But I think your daddy might have my head if I leave you here unattended." How was he supposed to convince this she-pup that she needed to turn around and march back home? He supposed he could just drag her kicking and screaming, and the thought caused a grin to spread across his muzzle. But, it might be more fun to take a break from his patrol and tease her a little longer. "Well, aren't you gonna show me how you'd fight me off?" he taunted, towering over her with his tail curled up high, waiting for her to do something so he could laugh at her some more.
