So the war had been won. Hellstrom had fallen, Sin plucked off of the throne that he had stolen. He headed back towards Abaven at a slower pace, leaving room for the injured to stay with them. It had been... shocking to say the least. The numbers of wolves that had shown up at Sin's side were not what was expected, leaving Bass standing with Valentine and many other members with no fight. A lot of wolves were coming home without any wounds, and while he was thankful he couldn't help but feel... disappointed. He had hoped for a bit more, but perhaps that was his fault for showing up with so many wolves. But he had done it, he had avenged his family's fall, and planned to expand Abaven to give them more room for the members of Threar to be with their family. Already his pack was bursting at the seams, he needed more room if he wanted to add more family to his ranks.

Bass paused as he looked back at the group behind him. The young ones of Imperium were in Abaven with his own children, and he swiveled to look at Valentine. "You and your members are welcome here Valentine, if you wish to rest before returning home. If you need medical help just let me know, the healers should have been gathered from the Estuary." His golden gaze roamed around the crowd to try and see Starling, but he didn't see the boy yet. His heart pounded with worry, but he knew that he was okay. He had to be. Shaking his head he let out a sigh and pushed forward, the feeling of the familiar landscape soothing to him. He was home, finally. He tipped his head back and let out a quick, short howl to alert the rest of the pack that they were home.
