Last swim of the year

Voltage was hanging around today, generally like he did almost every day since his daughters were born. He was lounging in the den, his head in his paws and thinking about what his siblings might be up too. He missed them all, really. Ever since he had become a father he didn't seem to spend any more time with his siblings. He missed it, almost craved it. But when he felt large eyes settled on him, belonging only to a certain blue marked daughter of his, he knew he wouldn't be able to dwell on it much more. One the word "swim" he sighed and lifted his head, knowing he couldn't argue. This was about growing, about expanding his daughters horizons. About teaching trust and what not. So he'd look to her then, smiling as current awoke and trotted on over as well. Well, he couldn't say no now.… "Why don't the both of you go ahead...I'll wait here and watch." He said with a smile. |
