While not quite as disappointing as the one before it, this siege had been rather anticlimactic. It seemed like the opposition hadn't been all that keen on defending their pack. The odds had been stacked against them, sure, but that did not excuse their lackluster defense. Those that had stood had been easily defeated and the King himself hadn't been able to find an opponent. Instead he'd simply stood on the sidelines and gabbed with Bass. His wolves had preformed flawlessly; not a single one had fallen. And while no where near the amount of slaves he'd been hoping to earn for their efforts, Imperium had walked away with a pair of them. Several of his members had behaved admirably and Valentine intended to give them the recognition they deserved.

His gaze darted to Bass as the Azat turned his attention on him. Valentine dipped his head in thanks before replying, "That's very kind of you, Bass." After Bass's call rang out Valentine's gaze roved over their surroundings. Any second now and his kids would come bursting in. Well, Rhys at least. Her reaction was easily predicted.

"Bass," he began, "in light of our victory I would like to hold a celebration of sorts, a feast for the fighters." Among other things he wanted to give his members the recognition they deserved. "If that's something that interests you, Abaven is welcome to come. The only thing I ask is that you bring something to share."
