Watching her writhe beneath the surface was the Devils greatest pleasure. He could see her struggling with the fear that began to settle upon her like a blanket, though far from warm. Did she finally realize the situation she was in? He hoped so. He knew so. He waited a minute for her to accept or deny his game, watching as she seemed to think about it. He saw her cast a glance towards Seifer, immediately he knew which direction she would run. He wasn't stupid. She would try to make a break for the outside world. At last, she accepted his game. Telling them they had to count to one hundred. He would nod, a mischievous glance towards Seifer told his friend all he needed to know.

Then she would bolt towards the feline, and his companion would watch her speed past before looking back towards Sin. "We'll give her a small head start." Fair enough, right? One. Run little girl. Two. Hide little girl. Three. Don't let them find you. Four. Run as fast as you can. Five. Don't let them catch you. Six. Time is running out...Seven. The lion will hunt the lamb. Eight. He will feast tonight. Nine. Run for your life! Ten. Let the hunt begin. Lips curled in a sneer as an animalistic snarl ripped from his throat, followed by laughter that echoed throughout the tunnels. Not the kind of merry laughter no. An ominously hungry and sick sort of laughter. Laughter that told stories of old, that sent chills down the spine of his victims. Unleash the devil.

From a standstill, he would surge into a run. Seifer turning and bounding forth. Paws of both creatures pounded silently over the ground, the fading echoes of maniacal laughter following them. No doubt the girl had heard it, and was now running, fearing for her life. The pair matched stride for stride, speeding at a breakneck pace. They would not allow her to reach the outside world, not her body at least. Her potential screams would be drowned out by the storm that now raged outside, preventing any passers-by from hearing her. Her fear scent grew stronger, the small girl was no match in speed compared to the larger beasts.

Crimson and amber gaze saw her up ahead, and Seifer would put the peddle to the metal, surpassing Sin as he approached hard and fast upon the intended prey like a hawk upon a mouse. With curling lips, fangs were revealed as the feline drew closer, each hair on her pelt standing on end. With a dangerous yowl, Seifer leapt with outstretched claws, landing half on the girl, large paw making contact with her shoulder blade, claws biting to the bone and dragging her to the ground. A pained yelp would sound from the girl, but he would not release his grip on their prey. Sin would approach next, skidding to a halt as he slowed and sneered. Stained teeth bared as his hackles rose. The rising fear from her body fueling him.
