Dripping Gold

Locha stood under the willows in utter awe. Autumn had hit this tree grove full on. Around and above her were an amazing array of golden coloured leaves. The quiet rustle filled her ears as she looked around head tilted upwards. It was beautiful. Taking a few steps further, Locha noticed the small streams that trickled around the bases of each tree, reflecting the branches above. Hardly any leaves had fallen this early in the season, so the silvery pure water was free from any drifting debris. Locha hadn't planned to take a trip that day, but that morning, she'd stood on top of the cove and seen the first rays of the sun hit this grove, lighting it up like a clear stone on the beach and she just had to explore it. Now she was glad she had. Sitting down, Locha's bblue eyes looked up, devouring the sights around her. |
