Áki often forgot that his presence could be intimidating - or, at the very least, surprising. His size was unusual, coupled with his tusks; but still, he would never grow used to the dropped jaws or fleeting looks of fear when he met strangers. This particular wolf didn't show fear at his arrival, but certainly a bit of surprise, though she seemed quick to smile back at him. Perhaps he might make a friend today, he thought to himself, and he chuckled lightly as she spoke.
"A beautiful day, indeed," he agreed heartily, his gaze leaving her to take another good look at the drooping willow trees that surrounded them. "The gods shine on us today," the male would echo, a somber touch to his words - he was not always so wistful but the moment had come quickly, and he'd soon shake his head as though to rid his private thoughts from the conversation. "My name is Áki, by the way," he would offer freely, with a gentle dip of his head.
