He was in a relatively foul mood. The damn heat was rising to the point of being unbearable and his darker coat wasn't ideal for frolicking out during the day. Trees provided much needed shade, but they couldn't relieve the giant from the suffocating heat that had his tongue lolling from massive jowls in a heavy pant. His dark complexion was far better suited for night time endeavors, especially those that were in frigid temperatures. He'd always had a special preference for the cold rather than the heat. That preference probably had to do with the fact that it was much more fun to splatter the ivory snow with crimson blood rather than dying grass.

Dark whipcord lashed angrily behind him as he made his way towards the sound of rushing water. A dip in a river sounded exactly like what he needed at the moment. His pace was a meandering walk, unable to work up the energy to move any faster, not wanting to work himself up further and worsen his misery. Just as relief came into sight, another relief presented itself as well; his favorite relief of all in the form of his youngest sister Lilith. Her little moon washed head was just barely over the water as she swam around, presumably to relieve herself of this horrid heat as well. Archon halted in the shade of a few trees, several yards from the river's edge, simply enjoying watching his sister play in the water. Though Abraxas blood coursed through her veins, she was of all the brood, the one who still had much of her innocence intact. He didn't mean that she wasn't capable of ripping throats out when the time came, but he knew that she only did so when it was asked of her. She didn't enjoy torture the way that he did. She preferred knowledge over blood shed, which in a way made her better than any of their siblings.

Unable to resist interrupting her fun, the beast emerged from the shadows to pace towards the river's edge, lowering himself down into the river, the cool water enveloping his front limbs until it lapped at the bottom of his throat, his hindquarters crouched on the shore behind him. He dipped his muzzle into water, using it to launch water at his unsuspecting sister, tail wagging gently behind him.
