Brandr propped himself up and gazed adoringly at his daughter. Even now it was so hard to believe he was actually a father, especially to such a sweet, little girl. Why did time move so quickly. He leaned over to lick affectionately at his daughter's ears. "And so you shall be! You'll grow to be an amazing hunter Lucine. I can see it now." He rolled carefully onto his belly and stood to shake out his coat. Turning he picked up the rabbit and gently set it down between them.

"This is a rabbit, Lucine. Very fast and tricky to catch but also quite tasty. You've had bits of the meat before but today, I think we'll give you some practice before lunch. The object is simple. Catch the rabbit and take it from me." Swiftly he bent down and seized the rabbit head in his jaws then off he went, his head slightly bent so that the hind legs of the rabbit dragged on the ground. His tail wagged, beckoning his daughter to give chase.
