The flower stared at the water as she contemplated her mistakes. Despite everything she was her own worst critic. Not unhealthily so, but enough to put a damper on the next few hours or so. The walk home would consist of her own algorithms of how she could have done better. But, Clementine was also determined to not show up home empty pawed. She ventured out to bring some food home to her family and that is what she would do. Perhaps the babe would find a hare or Doe to bring down by herself, the south seemed plentiful as it were. Yet, as she lulled over the endless opportunities of the oncoming day a voice took her by surprise. Quickly, with ferociously raised hackles and curled lips, the woman pivoted around to face the spectator. His words almost lost in the flurry of shock, it seemed in her time of mild disappointment someone managed to sneak up on her. Moon-like eyes flicked up in his direction and she was filled with wonder. Despite her slightly menacing demeanor the woman seemed dumbfounded by his very appearance. Is this a Wolf?" It did not look like a normal Wolf. Though, it was not time for judgmental thoughts. Clementine softened after a few moments, lowering her natural defenses and replacing her instinctive snarl with a neutral expression. "You cannot give strangers such a fright!" The sweet girl scolded this odd male with a flurry of curiosity. "How long have you been watching me?" The woman could not help but to feel a pang of embarrassment as she thought over his former vocals. He had seen her failure, her facade of perfection already faltered. Yet, despite everything a tiny giggle escaped her lips, it was hard for the woman not to laugh at such a silly situation. speech action |
