Emer was glad. She had gotten just the reaction she had hoped for upon mentioning Cecily's name. Such joy only continued throughout the story and whilst Emer thought she wasn't doing a fantastic job for whatever reason Cecily seemed happy enough with the story, and as she finished her darker miniature would declare it was the best story. Emer would think her daughter mistaken, though certainly wouldn't point out the flaws in her story telling, Cecily was happy and that was all that mattered.
Now it seemed the girl would get sleepy again, another wave of exhaustion taking over her after the excitement of the story and whilst she was sorry to see that she was growing weary again already, she wouldn't regret the moment, it had been wonderful to see her little girl smiling and wriggling away. Her words were all jumbled now though, trailing off in a manner that made it difficult to understand though Emer was certain she had a fairly clear idea of what Cecily was attempting to ask.
"All the usual stuff I imagine." Emer responded, though certainly hoped that she and Taddeo weren't giving Valerius too much trouble, something told her that even if they were he still wouldn't admit to it, not wanting to worry the mother anymore. "But mostly looking forwards to playing with her sister soon." She added fondly, it was a sight that the Autumnal coloured woman knew she could hardly wait to see again.
