Siobhan's purple gaze stared at the sky once more, her ears flattening against her head as she gasped. the shock of it hit her at once, and she fumbled for reality's hold. but this was the reality. this was real life. and her place in the world now was in danger. "are we gonna die...?" Jewell's death had shaken her badly, and she wasn't sure how to deal with mortality. she thought, maybe, this was the end. the end of what, she didn't really know. the world, maybe? their way of life? Lirim was so peaceful, so safe. the thought of moving anywhere was beyond the girl. |
