Calamity was close on Tox's heels. The eruption had her heart beating very, very fast. The fastest it had ever beat before. The staccato beat matched her tripping paws as Cal stumbled on to the scene. She was so focused on arriving that she hadn't really planned what to do when she got there. Breathing hard, the small pup collapsed nearby Venom. It didn't even occur to her to look for their father - he had seemed like a distant figure to her. Deathbelle had felt much more corporeal.
