Toxicity drew her and her father's sigil in the dirt. She made circles around herself. She drew them big and small. Again, again, again, and again. She sought answers that just weren't there. Tox scratched the sigils in trees, fallen logs. She made some out of fallen branches and leaves. She made one out of small bones. How many did she have to make before her father saw them from heaven?
When Sirius called, Toxicity had no desire to go. Why? What could she learn that could take her to God? There was nothing she could learn in her mortal body that would bring her closer to her father's side once again. But he had called. And he was a higher rank or something, so Toxicity came, dragging her feet the whole way. She came to the man, a flat, dead expression in her eyes. She spared no greeting save for the faintest nod of her head. She had no desire to learn for the first time in her still short life. She wanted her dad back.
