For the first time since he had learned to talk, Plague had been eerily silent. He had withdrawn from his siblings and kept to himself, secluding himself away from any and everything. Their father had been his idol, everything the young godling had ever wanted to be. The man was a devout follower of Abraxas, the Fallen God, and yet...their God had seen fit to smite him along with an unmet uncle. He wasn't bitter and angry as he had often observed Pest being, but he wouldn't throw himself into the religion as Tox did either. Lost was a good word to describe the way the pup felt, and there was anger, but he had no will to act on anything.
Depression had set in, even after the move from his birth home, Plague hadn't been himself. He wasn't far away when he heard Sirius call for the pups of Ashen, but his usual want to be first wasn't there. He took his time arriving at the call. He felt as though his soul was sick and he didn't want to go about taxing his body, all he really wanted to do was sleep. He also wanted to cry, but he held his tears back. Being sad and bitter wouldn't help him feel better, maybe Sirius could.
