His attack on Alarr's hind leg had succeeded, and so had his bite. The blood he tasted from his opponent fueled him, urging him to render his opponent incapacitated. "Yesss!! Taste his blood! Remember your roots, boy! D E S T R O Y him!!" A guttural growl sounded from the male as he shook his head, trying to clear the voice away. He didn't want to destroy anyone, he was just here to fight on behalf of the band to secure the resources that Valkyrie desired. He didn't want to maim or draw anymore blood than was necessary.

But the voice was making him struggle with control in remembering that.

He glanced back to find Alarr aiming for his ankle, his eyes widening when he realized he might not be able to get away in time. But then a flurry of feathers and a battle screech alerted him to his companion swooping in with lightning speed, the eight deadly talons reaching out to wrap around Alarr's horns in a bid to yank the boys head up and away from Cloud's ankle. A feeling of relief washed over him for a brief moment as he quickly whirled around in a tight circle, jaws gaping open as he sought to wrap them around Alarr's throat the moment his Osprey gave him an opening. Along with his bite, Cloud sought to throw his entire weight into Alarr at the same time, seeking to knock him completely over and onto his back to end the fight before he completely lost control.
