Az had been spending some time away from his family to think, bonding with his new companions and considering his future. It was a lot for a not-yet six month old pup, but he always felt he was more mature then the others of his family anyways. Except maybe Indy, somehow the boy seemed an adult in a puppy's body and always knew what wise words needed saying. Maybe he was spending too much time with Aunt Iolaire and too little butchering animals with him and Asla.

Usually by sunset the boy found himself returning home, wanting to claim his favorite spot in the den before his siblings returned from their daily adventures. Today though he felt pulled to the plains to watch the sun fall behind the waves, and couldn't help the surprised grunt that pulled from him as he noticed the spot was not vacant. His eyes narrowed slightly as he looked upon the silhouette of his barely elder brother, though he found himself approaching the other boy regardless of his disdain for him. Their mother had done her best to get her sons to get along, and Azure wanted to win her favor. After all, he was not blind to the concerned way she looked at him when he brought her home the mangled tail of a beaver as a trophy one day.

"This place is for fighting." He said gruffly, though not as unkind as usual for him. "I didn't think you did any fighting." It wasn't outwardly an insult, regardless of how he meant it to plant insecurity. His brother had always been cowardly and soft, and Azure secretly hoped to see Mortis cringe at the very thought of bloodying the sand beneath his paws.

"Speech"
"Thinking"
"You."

Both of Azure's ears have notches and tears.
Az has a scar across his right eye, a mirror image of his natural born marking.
Azure has saber fangs, bone spurs on his elbows and knees, and the paws/forelimbs of a bear.
Not all of these features are always reflected in his art.

Azure's companions are a very big bat and a young clouded leopard, unless otherwise stated assume they're not with him.
