Strange ties

She listened as Sirius spoke of each of his children and agreed with each assessment. Asla had spunk, Indy was her little apprentice, Mort was improving and Az had an attitude. The little healer cast a sidelong glance at her brother. "I know that Azure is getting on my mothers last nerve. She's mentioned him several times." She growled a bit, pretending to have Resin's gruff tones. "The boy has no honor. He doesn't think before he acts. He's going to get himself killed." She gave her head a shake. She didn't know the full details, but she had assured her mother that Azure would grow up some day. He just needed to learn.

Io gave a little stretch, flexing her strange paws. "Fatherhood suits you." She flexed her toes again. "On another note, look at these." She wiggled the longer digits towards him, complete with opposable thumbs. "I have no idea what happened... but it happened. Oddly enough, Enki has paws like this as well. He's a very good cat."

And speaking of cats... Enki was incredibly shy as the pair of leopards meandered off into the long grass. He'd been on his own the majority of his life as was the leopard way. Being in close contact with the wolves, however, had made him see his solitude a little differently. The smell and closeness of this pretty, young leopard woman made the cat feel all sorts of strange, new things.
