She was a bit nervous to hear the response Venom would give her to her offer. In her own mind, she didn’t feel like she was worth having. After all, she had failed in her duties and failed to protect her master. Now she was lost to the wind and injured - surely she wasn’t someone that Venom would want. However, it seemed like she was wrong or at maybe Venom saw the story from a different angle than she had. When she accepted her offer and informed her that she would be placed in the rank of a soldier. She had no frame of reference yet for where that put her in the ranking of the pack, but she was just grateful to have a place at all. She smiled softly and gave a grateful dip of her head to the Empress, her ears folded back submissively. “Thank you… I won’t let you down.” And she meant that. She wouldn’t fail again. Life had given her a second chance and she wasn’t going to throw that chance away. |
