Broken, Bruised, Not At All Amused

Ears perked as a voice sounded from outside. The bedridden wolf curled her body as best as she could. It was the only way she could partially sit up. The immobilizer locked her hip in place as well. It was beyond awkward. It seemed that the visitor was Sedna. This, Asla would allow. She didn't think the grey woman would be fake and full of pity so she invited her inside. "Hello, Sedna," she said politely. Purple flecked eyes rested on the obsidian fox and one brow arched. A moment later the woman asked if she would help to skin the fox. It would be nice to have something to do. With a sigh, Asla nodded and motioned to the alcove at the back of the spacious den. "Grab one of the big oiled pelts, would you?" She wouldn't get her den covered in blood.
Kaizer arrived next, dipping into the den. Her comment made the injured wolf snort. "Very uncomfortable." After Kaizer introduced herself to Sedna, the older girl asked about her healing time. "My aunt said that it could take me about a month until I'm able to walk. Longer until I'm able to run. I might always have a limp." Asla forced a smile but couldn't make herself say anything else. She didn't like thinking about the long road ahead. It was depressing.
