The older wolves hurried towards the cow that they'd originally targeted which was fine. This buck wasn't going anywhere. The snap of the leg had been clean and the limb bounced around. The caribou panted in pain, releasing squeals of distress periodically. She almost felt bad for that bit. Almost.

When the others finally came, Aslatiel only needed their presence to act. As Star harried the buck, Asla rushed forward and leaped, sinking her teeth into the back of its neck as she climbed the beast. Ulfr came close, but ended up backing off, which was good. Couldn't have him getting hurt. Soon the trio of wolves had the buck on its side. With well placed bites, its life was soon ended and their hunt was a success.
