Tyrian had not misjudged how far away his target was but only the target he had located. Luckily for Bait he was both keen on hearing, reflexes, and smaller than a sheep. Crouching down and back-peddling even as the giant wolf went over his head all that ended up happening was Bait getting hit in the face with the tail of the giant wolf. Hardly dangerous but it was rather unwanted. Tyrian still got to land on something besides earth. Below one of his back feet was a dead vole, slick from Bait’s saliva. The fox had spit out his food in the rush of escaping a mountain landing on him. “My lord Tyrian?” The surprise evident in the voice. Damn it, Bait disapproved of his dinner being interrupted. However, he was wise enough to never try and lecture a wolf. What had caused this bit of unpleasantness? Bait didn’t see this wolf bothering to sneak up on a fox he had allowed in the pack. “Was there something you wanted help with my lord?” Bait put his best charismatic and humble smile on that foxy face even as his eyes flicked down to his dinner before back towards Tyr.
