The young Fatalis looked up to his father with the same bright blue eyes they shared. Sirius offered him a quick greeting and flopped onto the ground, creating a much less intimidating presence than if he’d remained standing. Indigo was put at ease, but at the back of his mind the real reason for his need to go lingered. He swallowed softly and pressed it down as his father reached out his similar cat-like paws. He pressed gently, mentioning the discussion that Inigo had with his mother.
Zee had told him about the new litter and Indy was having trouble getting excited about new siblings. He already wasn’t close to Azure or Mortis, though he would have done anything in the world for his brothers. He might have been afraid for the younger pups, he didn’t wish his own affliction on his worst enemy, he hoped they wouldn’t turn out like himself and Aslatiel. Sirius wasn’t here for that reason though, this was about Indigo and his path in life.
”I want to go to the Hallows.” Indigo told him simply, no hesitation in his voice at all. His mind had already been made up. He needed to be away from Aslatiel so that maybe his heart would begin to heal. Maybe it wouldn’t though. ”I feel like I need to be closer to Meadow, and that I’d learn so much more in a place like that.” Here he was likely to become a master or one thing: healing battle injuries. With Resin he could learn so much more with her safe haven for those who needed rest and rehabilitation. Of course, that was only his best excuse, not the real reason.
