It was times like this that Praxis had to wonder: what could've been? The air was perfectly crisp, the breeze gentle, the night sky a perfect canvas for the few fireflies that remained to greet the start of the cold season....She likely wouldn't have had the same opportunity to take it all in as she did right now. Back home, she might've been dragged away for something of "greater importance," felt the need to indulge him in whatever duties he felt obligated to accomplish. Here, though, she could take a moment to slow down--without any question as to what others thought of it. So, as the little bugs danced their clumsy little dance, they had her undivided attention, her green and lime gaze turned lime and yellow as it idly followed the little corkscrews and spirals they carved out above.
