Stuck in the middle with you

Okay so this was a new one... he'd somehow found himself squished between two packs, walking as carefully as he could not to be crossing their borders but there were places that the borders were practically on top of each other and it was his own damn stubbornness that kept him moving... until now. He was pretty not happy with the way this journey was going, he'd found a spot where there was a space between the borders and he had decided that this was a good place to take a break.

Current Hyacinth was pretty damn upset with past Hyacinth for thinking that... since he was now stuck trying to keep going, knowing that there wasn't too much more to see, the hint of the sea was on the air... Or go back, which didn't really sound all that appealing.
