Too cute for my toes

While Aku's heart may not have been in the gesture it seemed his offering of a kiss was enough to stop the onslaught and that was exactly what he had been hoping for. Maybe now she would be satisfied and let him be. All she'd wanted was a kiss, right? Well he was giving her one which meant any second now she'd take her kiss, climb off of him and he could disappear into the winter storm never to set foot near anything to do with lava or the underground ever again lest either be a  natural magnet for affection vampires or brazen women.

Though his lips had been raised tentatively that didn't dampen the woman's mood any. She seemed to melt over him as she pressed her lips to his and Aku was suddenly acutely aware of their tangled bodies. He was baffled by her passion, alarmed by the danger, and yes, a little turned on. Overall his feelings were mixed and at war with one another. How much did he commit to this? Was it really so wrong to give this a try? Aku's eyes flashed wide as he felt her tongue on his lips. This was entirely new territory. He'd expected to give her just a little kiss; a small peck on the lips to pacify her need for reciprocation.

The confusing flicker of thoughts screeched to a halt suddenly as her whispered word registered. "Yours?" he whispered back before her lips were on his again. Siren! That was it, he needed to leave. Was it too late for him? Only one way to find out. Aku broke the kiss and leaned back so he could meet her gaze. "I have to go," he said as he wiggled over onto his side and moved to slide free of her grasp. If successful he would make a dignified break from the entrance.
