Too cute for my toes

Lorikeet truly believed that she was trying to save poor Aku from a life that would leave him miserable. If she decided to have, just a little fun in the meantime. Well, she didn’t have to be a complete saint, now did she?

As the sound of her claws clipped quickly on the stone floor, and her voice called out to him, Aku began to run. Racing through the maze-like corridors of this strange lava network. “Little Aku, little Aku, won’t you come out?” she cried as he ducked down a passage. For a moment, he was out of view, but she was almost on his heels. Sprinting around the corner with a warriors lithe grace. “Don’t run, little rabbit! You and I will be amazing together!” but of course the run helped to bring her blood flowing freely through her veins, and her steps were light and eerie as they landed on the ground with each stride. She was having entirely too much fun.
