A younger woman charged at her and she snarled, instantly dropping herself, lowering her center of gravity closer to the ground to stabilize her as she sidestepped so she was more on a 45 degree angle from her opponent. She took the hit, shoulder to shoulder, but digging her claws into the ground and the other defensive measures she had taken moments before prevented her from losing her balance, though she would most certainly be sore in the days following this fight. Her jaws snapped as she sought to lock in on the woman’s shoulder near the base of her neck, hoping if she could get a good grip, then she would be able to force the woman down to the ground. Carlys watched from the skies above, just waiting for the right time to strike. They both had a thirst about them, a hunger to prove themselves as an apt member of the War Circle of Valhalla and to prove themselves as warriors who were capable of raiding with little complaint.
