It wasn't long before a disheveled pup appeared. She looked at the little thing with wide, panicked eyes. A second and third were following close behind. She swallowed hard. Pups. So, mom and dad should be along shortly to kill me, huh? Noe's ears were flat back against her head and tail tucked. She tried to will her body to move but she was absolutely paralyzed with fear.

The first pup said something she didn't quite catch and then launched at her tail. She scream-squealed but didn't move. Little teeth pierced her tail, and two sets of teeth pricked her shoulders. Were these babies seriously attacking her? Or are they just play fighting? The flared hood of the cobra and the painful sting in her shoulders said these psychotic children were not joking.

"P-p-please leave me alone, I didn't mean.." She whimpered. "Didn't mean t-to trespass…" Her words were intermixed with a long, painful whine. She still stood absolutely defenseless, letting herself be attacked.
