The harder they fall

Lúta worked her way into the base of the canyon where the rest of the pack intended to drive the mammoths. Hopefully, they'd be able to hit the target about right and the mammoths wouldn't fall too far on either end of the canyon. Lúta nodded to Duncan as she took up her position. Along the lip of the canyon wall her companion, Kolfinna strode. The mountain lion moved effortlessly along the rocky terrain, pacing back and forth. Lúta took a moment to survey her surroundings and get a feel for the landscape they had to work with. There was a river that ran through the middle of the canyon but thankfully it didn't look too deep. She focused on listening, waiting for the sound of the avalanche that would signal the beginning of the hunt.
