For a long while Kaija trudged along, over partially frozen grass and vegetation, looking like she was on a mission to get somewhere. And she was - she just wasn't sure where yet, but she was sure she'd figure it out as she went. More than once she felt a powerful shiver wrack her body, making her second guess her decision to come out. Maybe lounging around with her siblings might be better today? It'd definitely be warmer if nothing else. She let out a shuddering sigh as the sound of someone close by caught her attention, and a second later she was being called out to. Instantly Kaija forgot all about the cold and her plans and anything else and made a beeline for Laoise, grinning and wagging her tail wildly.

If the tusked girl had any idea that she might be in trouble, or being scolded, she made no sign of it. Justice's parenting style was... well, a bit different. She and her brothers were free to roam as they pleased. They'd only get into trouble if they did something out of their control and had to call someone for help. Independence had been ingrained in her since the day she'd been born and she thought very little of it. "Hi! Who are you?" She'd seen her around but couldn't remember her name, which happened more often than she cared to admit when it came to wolves within the pack. Kaija was a lot of things but observant wasn't one of them - she found her mind often moved too quickly to latch on to information the way it should. "I was just out exploring. Looking for an adventure. Got any ideas?" She grinned mischievously at the thought. "My mama's sleeping. She doesn't like when I bother her for stupid things, so she'd be glad I'm letting her sleep," Kaija answered, entirely convinced that what she was saying was true - and it totally was. A big nod helped emphasize her point.
