I'm caught in a blur

Dalila felt a bit of guilt and worry twist at her when he commented on how she didn't seem happy to see him, her ears falling back against her head as she gave him an apologetic look. "Oh! No no, it's not that, you just startled me is all," she insisted, doing her best to wipe the uneasiness from her expression. He strode forward toward her and she lingered where she had been standing, feeling the slow waves washing back and forth over her white dipped paws. Despite her best efforts to stay calm her heart still betrayed her and pattered nervously against her chest as he stood in front of her, causing her to tip her head up a bit to be able to look up at him. Besides the one time she had treated his paws and massaged his shoulders she had never been alone with this much larger man, at least not without Siren somewhere near by. The dens where not quite within earshot unless she screamed so it made her feel more isolated under Chimera's two-toned gaze.

He asked about Siren and she nodded, replying quietly, "Yes... I helped her get ready for bed an hour or so ago. I stayed up to finish putting away some herbs that I gathered earlier today and was just getting cleaned up... That explained why she was out here in the water, but that didn't quite explain why he had her cornered with the ocean at her back. "Is there something I could do for you?" she asked again, silently trying to sort out what he could be keeping her here for. Up until now they hadn't interacted much and the majority of her day was spent looking after Siren - which she was more than happy to do. She had always thought to herself in the few times that they had crossed paths and she had endured walking on eggshells around him that it was more than worth it to be able continue serving her lady. She wondered if that resolve was going to be tested or not with each passing second of looking up at her domineering master.
