A Mammoth Task [THE HUNT]

The cliff was coming up fast and Twig needed to find a medium between when she should cease her chase. Too soon and the mammoth might balk, too late and she was going over the edge with it. Delicate paws carried her through the slush but she stopped and watched as the giant beast went careening off the side with a final trumpet of protest. Twig followed Brandr to the base of the cliff where Corvus and Allegro were working on bringing the final end. The beast was still struggling but they would soon bring about its demise. Twig raced in, careful of the finality of the flailing limbs, and helped to finish the creature for the good of the pack.
