Despite how much she wanted to be mad at him, when he teased about him being her silly brute he still managed to pull a small grin to her lips and she gave him a roll of her aqua eyes in response. It really was a good thing he was so handsome and charismatic. Otherwise she was pretty sure that he'd be in a constant state of being in trouble. Luckily for him, she was a sucker for those big, obsidian eyes of his and the cute way he pretty much begged for forgiveness as he sweetly apologized and said he would be more careful. She couldn't really fault him for wanting to get what she wanted and knew that if the roles had been reversed she probably would have done everything she could do get whatever it was he wanted. Granted she wouldn't have run out onto a sheet of ice over a frigid ocean and would have maybe approached the issue with a bit more finesse, but she knew how he was and in most areas of their lives she enjoyed how head strong and violet he was in his pursuit of things. Just not right now when he was being threatened with a cold induced illness or hypothermia.
"I forgive you," she told him with a chuckle, shaking her head with a smirk at her ridiculous husband that she loved so deeply. She got up and moved closer to him, not laying against him just to keep herself from getting wet as well, but laying nose to nose with him around the fire. She brushed her muzzle against his and caught his lips in a quick kiss, her paw trailing down his foreleg. "I don't want you to lose that headstrong way about you. I fell for you while you were diving head first into a fight with that first massive wolf we found after all. I just don't want to lose you so soon after making you mine." She knew she hadn't fully explained the ramifications of the ceremony she had done to bind them together, but even without all of those reasons even just their love for one another and the understanding that she was depending on him for all of her future chances at a family was enough to hopefully make it clear why she needed him to be a little more careful with himself.
With the warm fire roaring beside them she hoped that he would dry quickly, but in the mean time she kept leaving small kisses and nibbles around his muzzle and cheeks, a small smile lingering on her lips. They were quiet for a while, but she didn't mind. He completed her. Even just laying here in some godforsaken tundra somewhere in northern Boreas with just a fire to keep them warm made her content as long as she was with him. A small smirk crossed her mind as her thoughts wandered, thinking about the future with him and some things that hadn't been revealed to him yet. She felt like she was slowly peeling back more and more layers about her and her family to him as time went on, but one thing that would come sooner rather than later was currently on her mind.
"So, my demon," she started, breaking the silence and interrupting their little affections as her claws lightly trailed down his leg again. "There is another part of our marriage to consider... a honeymoon or celebration of sorts." Her gaze lingered on his face, curious to see his reactions. "Everyone in my family has done it a little differently, but there's always some kind of sacrifice involved. Some will just have a big hunt or kill something dangerous like a bear... Some will find a wolf to use as a sacrifice." She gave him a curious look, a wicked grin pulling at her lips. "I was thinking we might go south, enjoy some warmer weather for a while, find a little fae to share, and let her be our wedding sacrifice. Does that sound like a good honeymoon to you, handsome?"
